Arch from scratch installed fine for me and ran great. EndevourOS threw errors during install and the desktop was littered with random popup errors…tried it twice a few years apart and Endevour was a poor experience with a janky looking UI

Leap with Gnome. Really solid
Sorry, linux is boring now now.
I found that on OpenSUSE. Once getting past the learning curve of linux and OpenSUSE’s general use, It has updated flawlessly for years and there is never anything to tinker with.
From what I have heard/been told the “ignoring partner and sex 1-2 times a year” is a lot of marriages, so maybe your scenario wouldn’t change much
You want that distinct crunch as you force the RAM in with a mallet
w7 EOL was my push, so you may be right
But then it wouldn’t be funny on the interwebs
Reread your title dipshift
Containers are great to keep OS separate from apps, but VPN seems pretty integral to OS, so I don’t see an issue using rpm-ostree. Containers often prove challenging because of not being able to get permission or share data between apps ( on purpose )
Your own link says he was ok saying it as is. While Berliner is a donut it also is someone from Berlin.
Yep, i agree. patents are stupid, but not everyone is convinced of open sourcing everything
While that is an option for anyone, its not something I wanted. Mine is cube with 200mm fan. The lowest setting is fine for the thermals, but if I’m video processing I will toggle to high, but for voice over or a phone call comes in I drop it down low. The random up and down of the fan if left to its own device creates a noise I don’t want to deal with.
Lol. It is. Before my first coffee.
I have 2 of these. One gives perfect results, one seems to drop off after lots of data transfer. They look alnoat identical, but one is name brand and ine ia probaboy a cheap chinese copy. Wiring is probably sub-par
Mine has an 3 position exrernal fan switch for manual control, cable comes out those holes. Also useful for direct header usb that you run an extender cable out to another device.
My wife struggles with tech, she had such a hard time with windows, and the slowness of it was making her wxperience worse. I put GNOME DE on her old laptop, she can be autonomous now
Yep, i always type the line and take a break, and check the drives in another terminal first, before committing, but the web is full of people “argg I just dd the wrong drive”.
Possibly, the heart pumps but your vascular system has to return it all and it may feel different. But could also be the reduction of vein size as blood pressure ia dropping that you are feeling
Is the A6 from 2017/18? Should be fine with anything. My wife’s laptop is from 2010/11. I tried all the DEs because of the lightness claims, I found GNOME worked the best, and it is super peppy running NixOS.
I asked online why GNOME would perform better than what is assumed a lighter DE, and a comouter dude says GNOME goes and gets everything it needs and caches it when you launch something so retrieval is faster in the app, KDE loads stuff on demand as it is asked for so a alow CPU and HDD hinderes KDE for me.
if you can afford it, by 4 more gigs of RAM
