Thanks, I spent a couple of hours playing around with that. It didn’t work quite right but still I’ve got some glorious retro ugliness going on. A mishmash of CDE, Windows 2000 icons and KDE 5, it’s mental and I love it.
Yes, https://PieFed.social shows 100 posts per page.
Yeah, I long for window decorations and borders like that. Anyone know a good KDE 5 theme that does it?
I banned some of the most obvious and prolific shills from my instance and there was a small but noticeable drop in server CPU load. Their posts are not the cause, it’s all the comments on their posts and the votes on all of that. Those are being discarded instead of processed.
Their effect should not be underestimated.
This is awesome, thank you!
Can you add a filter for forums that have ActivityPub integration?
I would just visit each forum that looks interesting and check for myself but unfortunately the Federation tab (e.g. https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/ap/local/actor/52889/followers) only has a visible UI link to it when logged in which makes finding out this information very slow.
Windows XP. Windows itself was fine, I only moved because the programming languages I wanted to use ran better on Linux and ran in a way that was more likely to be the same as in production.
The worst is significantly worse than that. Look at history. Rwanda, Cambodia, Sudan, for starters.
And they have nuclear weapons.

Wow that is amazingly elaborate!
Ah yes, a strongly worded letter. That’s the Dem way. Works every time.
What do you want those users to be able to do with their accounts?
A CMS like Drupal or Wordpress might be what you want.
It’s hard to recommend something when you haven’t described the purpose. Having users register accounts is just a means to some end.
An amendment requires a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
It’s worth a try but don’t pin all your hopes on it.
I had a terrible time getting wifi working on my Macbook Pro from about the same year. 2012, I think. It semi-worked but was horrifically unreliable and slow.
In the end I just got a tiny USB wifi dongle and plugged it in, rather than using the internal wifi card.
Voting, alone, has never been enough.
That’s some God tier linux wizardry

Fight inflation by arresting the rich, you say… Hmm, I think it’s worth a try. 🤪
