These guys are really churning out the devices, eh?
I’ve not played Half Life Alyx but people seemed to like it. And let’s not forget the huge success of the Steam Deck!
HotS is a Blizzard game, Valve has DOTA2
I think it was a single purchase which included the base game and the expansion. You still get it now with “GOTY edition” etc.
The reddit webpage asks me download their app every time I have to open it, libreddit doesn’t. It’s also full of “sponsored posts” which aren’t from external advertisers so don’t seem to get blocked.
Usually the code for this sort of thing is entirely reverse-engineered
It is an interesting history of email though, it’s only the final 10% that even mentions bitcoin.
They are doing the bare minimum though - they’re making money, the people who do want this are paying for it. People who want to play those games in another way already emulate them, people who want online chat play on another device. We are not the target market for this service.

Wow, I’d sure like to drink an ice-cold glass of Coca-Cola™ while using one of those!

You can just create a throwaway account for GitHub
I know I’m getting off-topic, but the last time I tried this it ended up being locked either because it didn’t like a simplelogin email or because I didn’t give it a phone number. Hopefully that was an edge case but I haven’t tried again recently.
Sounds ideal!
Are you saying you don’t get excited for your favourite characters to be “developing the reach of the intellectual property and for expanding commercial business endeavors”!?‽
Who is defining these achievements? Presumably it’s a community thing, but which communities and who has final say?
I started using GitHub before Microsoft bought it, what should I be using instead? GitLab? Codeberg? Something else?
That’s only the beginning!
