More true words have not been said.
I’m remembering him on the Carson show. Only a few people ever get the best of Carson, Richard Simmons did it almost every time.
With Gates, you know it’s going to be priced to be competitive and disruptive to the market.
Mallrats is her magnum opus.

Me hanging out with my friend and his friends while they get dressed up for their drag show…

So genuinely funny. I remember him doing that kind of bit from the beginning. What a gem.
THE WORLD WAR 1 BLACK AMERICAN
if only the fools would actually list to that guy they hold as the example of how to behave…
the joke comes at the expense of a victim.
The reason this joke is bad is because it’s punching down. The subject of the joke is the victim of horrible atrocities. They should not be the core of the jokes punchline. If the joke made the perpetrators the butt of the joke, it would have worked.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend
Badgers?!
BADGERS?!??!?!?!?!
WE DON’T NEED NO STINKING BADGERS!!!
I was talking to a coworker recently about past work experiences and how crazy COVID-19 was when it first came out. I was working at a hospital, not the normal medical kind but a state run psychiatric hospital. Still its a hospital that behaves in hospital ways, especially when it comes to communicable diseases.
So its November 2019 and word is that there is a nasty respiratory disease making its way in the medical news, everyone is a little nervous but we are in eastern Washington, in a small town. The world is very far away, until it isnt.
December comes and the first case of COVID one of my coworkers who had a history of health problems dies a couple weeks after catching COVID. His at home caretaker dies from COVID. His wife who also works at the hospital gets COVID but she tells us she didn’t even really notice it.
That was just the beginning. After about 5 deaths of employees at the hospital they stopped telling us.
I will never forget one person. He called me on a Thursday and left a voicemail requesting I call him back because he hates to go through the help desk and likes a human touch and enjoys my conversations.
I called him back but he went home sick. I tried calling him the next week but he was still out. A week later I go to his desk to see if he is there and there are a bunch of his coworkers there. He passed away over the weekend, COVID won.
I have worked in the hospital/medical industry for over 20 years. 16+ of those were at the # 1 trauma center in Washington State.
I don’t know how so many people can believe this was all just a hoax. I will forever have a great and deep seated hate for people expressing doubt about the deadliness of the disease.

There’s this article I read a while ago
https://www.grunge.com/243257/the-real-reason-they-stopped-putting-missing-kids-on-milk-cartons/
Lead in the paint, lead in the water main, lead in the air and water from the fuels being burned.
It’s a shame we cleaned up so much of the lead only to be dealing with a generation of nutcases a decade away from irrelevancy. But we’ll definitely be dealing with that bullshit they did for generations.
Ever time I see someone wearing their pants almost around their knees, I reminded myself about this fact.
