You can say ‘Cosmetics don’t matter!’ but the astronomical sales of cosmetic items pretty much proves that to the majority of players, that is not the case.
Is it a majority of players or a minority that pays unsustainable sums?

TF2 didn’t even have microtransactions until 2010, and it both pretty much invented them
Many years ago, when I still read printed video game magazines, there was a story about microtransactions in Korean or Chinese games. I clearly remember how baffled I was after learning of that super weird and stupid concept.
“they” ist kein Pluralwort.
And yet the grammar attached with its use is plural and that’s super weird. “They goes to the store” is just wrong.
then use “they”
After 30 years of education saying otherwise it is not so easy.
do you speak exclusively with yourself?
I don’t speak English with others at all. I’m not in an English speaking country.
your linguistic choices affect others
Having a hard time grasping completely new concepts is not a choice.
“I goes”. Incorrect “They goes”. Incorrect
You don’t understand that one is first person singular and the other is not? Is your basic English really so much worse than mine?
“He goes”. Correct.
“She goes.” Correct.
“It goes.” Correct.
“They goes.” Wrong. And that’s just confusing for people who never ever were taught that in any form of education. I know it’s an old construct and not a new innovation but for people like me it feels just off. It’s not malice on my part to act against different genders, I’m just explaining why that part of the English language is weird
Shit started hitting the fan when everyone started faking Netscape’s “Mozilla” user agent. Then “KHTML, like Gecko” and after that every fork kept the originating name in the string and extended it.
There was no way Germany could have “won” anyway, unless it resulted in literally conquering the entire world. They were in a state of constant “mission creep” (to use a modern term). Early it was “retake the land we lost in the first war”, then it was “Lebensraum im Osten”, then Africa, the entire Soviet Union, etc.
And English is imprecise for “you” as well. For he/she/it grammar at least doesn’t change. Substitute that pronoun for they and suddenly the grammar switches to plural. That totally confuses me.
You obviously understand English to a lesser degree than me. I nowhere wrote that I made demands to comply with me. Where on earth do you get that idea that offering a perspective is a demand?
“Busy”, “More busy than usual”,… Not absolute numbers.
So San Francisco just invented the webcam? (Btw, Google Maps already shows how busy establishments are.)
As a non-native speaker, I really have a lot of problems using a plural word as singular. When I read it, I always have to read twice to check whether one or more people are meant. I rather read and use “she/he” even with the additional typing.
Took them long enough. That was how they did Android releases forever. Never understood why they couldn’t make PC releases the same way.
The ONLY problem I have had with this, is the controller on the system itself defaults as controller 1, so SOME games it takes a little fiddling to use different controllers. But I have done this and it works great.
I don’t know if you’re talking about in-game fiddling or Steam Input but to clarify for others here: Steam allows to reorder the controllers, so the thing I usually do at the beginning of game party is to move the Deck’s integrated inputs to the last place.
Do you think those four people make a noticeable difference?
Because in the minds of suits live service games are meant to be played forever.
Never heard of them before this.
What is supposed to be funny about this headline?
No, thank you. No Chinese spyware on my home PC.
